Job summary

shapecareers seeks a Program Manager to lead a cross-functional team through the product realization process from concept to launch. You will drive engineering change processes (PCR/ECN) and ensure PPAP readiness, acting as the primary customer interface on assigned programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of post-undergraduate experience in a project/process/manufacturing management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the scope of the program on behalf of the company and its suppliers.
• Summarize and report status to teammates, suppliers, customers, and management.
• Initiate and manage programs throughout the product realization process, including engineering requests of all types.
• Utilize the open issues matrix with risk mitigation plan.
• Develop and manage the program budget and report updates to management.
• Develop and drive program timing with internal milestones (design reviews, tooling, gate reviews).
• Manage multiple engineering teams to meet internal and customer requirements (TS16494, APQP, AIAG).
• Support the Business Unit/Regional Strategic Plan and communicate to stakeholders.
• Manage experimental process development activities as needed.
• Manage tooling engineering requests and program launches.
• Present phase-gate reviews to management.
• Participate in DVP&R, DFMEA, PFMEA meetings.
• Support APQP and VA/VE activities.
• Supervise Quality Engineers and other engineers as requested.
• Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports and mentor team members.
• Identify back-ups to cover key tasks.
