Job summary

Shape Corp. is seeking a Program Manager to lead a cross-functional team through the product life cycle. You will drive PRP and PCR/ECN processes to ensure customer satisfaction and production readiness, acting as the main interface for assigned programs.

The role requires coordinating design reviews, tooling milestones, gate reviews, and external milestones, while supervising engineers and mentoring staff. On-site at our Grand Haven facility in Michigan, with heavy stakeholder interaction.

Qualifications

• Cross-functional program leadership experience.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Stakeholder communication across customers, suppliers and management.
• Experience with Product Realization Process (PRP) and engineering change processes (PCR/ECN).
• Familiarity with APQP and AIAG methods.
• Experience supervising engineers and performing performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage program scope on behalf of the company and suppliers.
• Summarize and report status to teammates, suppliers, customers, and management.
• Initiate and manage programs through the product realization process and engineering changes.
• Develop and manage program budgets and provide updates to management.
• Drive timing with internal milestones and external customer milestones.
• Lead multiple engineering teams to meet TS16494, APQP, and AIAG requirements.
• Support business unit and regional plans and communicate to stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and development for direct and indirect reports.
• Identify backups to cover key tasks when absent.
