Job summary

NextGen Federal Systems seeks a seasoned Program Manager to plan, execute, and finalize development programs on time and within budget. You will work with sponsors and cross‑functional teams to define scope, milestones, resources, and deliverables, and you will communicate progress to stakeholders.

You will build and manage multi‑year budgets, track schedules, assess risks, and deliver formal reports, proposals, and presentations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Project or Program Management Software, IT or similar.
• 6+ years of experience in management role, preferably in program management.
• 6+ years’ experience in continuous improvement, process management, or customer service.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Or combination of education and experience providing required qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize a development program within deadlines and budget.
• Develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plan, budget and timing with sponsors and teams.
• Liaise with project managers to build vital relationships.
• Direct and manage program development with full project plans and communications.
• Develop and manage project budgets and accountability for goals.
• Plan and track project timelines and milestones.
• Produce progress reports, proposals, requirements docs, and presentations.
• Support process improvement activities and drive to fruition.
• Perform additional duties to support the position.
