Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Program Manager, Vision and Robotics to join its Vision and Robotics team within the Cell Engineering organization. You will own program execution across a portfolio of vision and robotics initiatives, aligning scope, milestones, schedules and risks with engineering leaders to drive delivery.

You will build an integrated roadmap across vision, perception, robotics and software, identify delivery risks early, and coordinate release readiness across labs, testing environments

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Robotics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs involving robotics, automation, computer vision, perception, mechatronics.
• Strong understanding of hardware, software, controls, systems integration and product development processes (NPD/NPI).
• Hands-on Jira proficiency; experience with program plans, dashboards and metrics for visibility.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills; capable of autonomous, priority-driven teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program planning and execution across vision and robotics initiatives, including scope, milestones, schedules, risks and delivery commitments.
• Build and maintain an integrated roadmap across vision, perception, robotics, software, controls and cell hardware workstreams.
• Identify delivery risks, capacity constraints and gaps; escalate before impacting commitments.
• Manage engineering execution through Jira with backlogs, releases and dependencies; track program-health metrics.
• Partner with engineering managers and product stakeholders on prioritization and trade-offs; communicate clearly to leadership.
• Coordinate integration, validation and release readiness across labs, testing environments and customer sites.
• Act as a connective point across Engineering, Customer Success, program teams to coordinate deployment from development to real-world use.
