Job summary

Federal Equipment Company, now part of Fairbanks Morse Defense, is seeking a Sr. Program Manager (Finance) in Cincinnati, OH. You will own end-to-end program management, lead cross-functional teams, and manage customer relationships from contract receipt through completion.

Responsibilities include IMS/budget development, risk management, and oversight of subcontractors, with travel up to 20% and NOFORN security considerations. Strong PM and government contracting experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field is strongly preferred.
• 8+ years leading complex technical programs in design/manufacturing/defense environments.
• Experience with government contracting (FAR/DFAR) and subcontractors.
• PM certification (PMP) is strongly preferred.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and financial oversight abilities.
• Strong communication and ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated program team with full accountability for schedule, cost, technical execution and profitability.
• Own the senior-level customer relationship and manage expectations and negotiations.
• Develop and maintain IMS and program budget; govern critical path milestones.
• Identify and mitigate risks; pursue opportunities to improve performance.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality.
• Oversee major subcontractors and suppliers to meet technical, schedule and quality requirements.
• Own program financials including variance analysis and EAC reporting.
