Job summary

The World Bank Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Program Officer to lead the EGPS program management team, coordinating across multiple windows and donors to advance mining, climate and infrastructure priorities. Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in economics, public policy, international development, energy, mining or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in international organizations or development finance contexts.
• Experience in program development, management and multi-donor coordination.
• Strong skills in donor relations, reporting, and strategic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across EGPS-3 windows, ensuring coherent program direction and delivery.
• Provide strategic leadership in design, development, and delivery of the program with partners.
• Engage donors, prepare proposals, reports, and high-level briefs; support MCC/Partner engagements.
• Represent WB Group in external forums and manage multi-stakeholder governance.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge products and communication materials.
• Ensure alignment with fiduciary responsibilities and Paris/DEI objectives.
