Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) seeks a program manager to plan, monitor and manage internal programs from initiation through completion, and to lead or coordinate resources, staffing and progress reporting.

You will monitor performance, adjust schedules and costs, and ensure compliance with policies. The role involves staff development and reporting to senior management, with potential travel to support program needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree with 8-10 years' experience or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Has P&L responsibility.
• Directs and oversees programs that meet org or customer needs.
• Develops and implements program processes, directs staff, and defines projects and programs.
• Directs program staff to ensure on-time work per standards.
• Ensures activities comply with policies and regulations.
• Reviews all aspects of programs including planning and budgeting.
• Presents program status updates to senior management.
• Leads staff and handles personnel actions with HR concurrence.
