Job summary

Maximus seeks a Senior Director to lead the overall client relationship and program delivery for the MA Connector Program, guiding strategic direction, tech-enabled operations, and continuous improvement. You will partner with executives, business leaders, and technical teams to ensure successful implementation, operation, and transformation of enrollment and premium processing systems.

The role requires occasional travel to support meetings and program activities, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
12-15 years of professional experience in a related field required.
Experience leading government services programs within the Health and Human Services (HHS) sector.
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs with responsibility for operational and technology delivery.
Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams in a client-facing environment.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations, adapt to changing business needs, and make sound decisions.
Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight and day-to-day program management.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the project financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
Ensure program operations comply with contract requirements and regulations.
Oversee all project administrative operations including budget, financial controls, and HR.
Plan, develop, and schedule priorities for achieving operational and performance goals.
Review management, productivity, and financial reports to meet program objectives.
Lead large-scale, cross-functional programs from strategy through implementation and stabilization.
Establish governance processes for accountability, visibility, and timely decisions.
Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation management.
Monitor program performance with established metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Champion process optimization and technology modernization to deliver client value.
