Job summary

Ad Hoc LLC, a technology company delivering scalable digital services for government, seeks a Program Director to lead a complex federal program. You will define strategy, oversee delivery, manage budgets, and partner with senior government stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, drive Agile delivery, and sustain strong customer relationships while maintaining financial performance and continuous improvement across the program scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading complex technology programs and digital services.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects or workstreams.
• Experience overseeing scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, and contractual deliverables.
• Experience managing relationships with senior government customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of a complex federal technology program across multiple projects.
• Serve as primary contact to senior government program leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through proactive communication and delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across software engineering, product, design, and delivery functions.
• Oversee program scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risks, and dependencies.
• Establish and improve delivery processes for predictable execution and high-quality outcomes.
• Lead program reviews, planning sessions, and status meetings with customers and leadership.
• Identify and resolve program risks, delivery challenges, and resource constraints.
• Communicate changes to scope, schedule, or staffing promptly and transparently.
• Maintain program reporting and visibility into milestones, staffing, risks, and commitments.
• Own program financial performance in partnership with company leadership.
• Mentor cross-functional team members and support hiring and onboarding.
• Ensure teams have the skills and resources to achieve objectives.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, high-performing team environment.
• Identify opportunities for organic account growth and long-term program success.
• Provide SME input for recompete and proposal activities.
