Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. in Richland, Mississippi, is seeking a Production Scheduling Professional to translate demand into executable schedules and to coordinate with Procurement and Production Management to maintain a stable, optimized plan.

You will use SAP and MES to sequence, release, and monitor orders, assess material availability and capacity, and respond to exceptions to protect the schedule and customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production scheduling/planning or related environment.
• Hands-on SAP ERP knowledge including reviewing material requirements and order tracking.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage material and capacity constraints.
• Effective cross-functional communication to coordinate Production, Procurement, Logistics, and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executable production schedules based on priorities, materials, capacity, and lead times.
• Schedule, release, and monitor production orders in SAP/MES, ensuring dates, quantities, and status align with the plan.
• Review material availability and work with Procurement/Logistics to identify shortages and expedite components.
• Collaborate with Production Management to monitor daily execution and adjust priorities as needed.
• Replan and resequence orders when necessary and communicate changes and risks to stakeholders.
• Track performance indicators—schedule attainment, plan stability, and backlog—and drive improvements.
