LayerZero Power Systems LLC, a global leader in power distribution solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Services Scheduler to optimize production scheduling and ensure timely delivery. You will plan production, coordinate with production, sales, purchasing, and management to align schedules with capacity and customer due dates, and monitor progress across lines.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, industrial technology, or related field.
• 2+ years scheduling or production experience; experience in similar roles often preferred.
• Familiarity with APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) software, logistics planning tools, and production management systems.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification can be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production schedules: Determine what products to produce, when, and on which machines or production lines, using job orders, inventory data, and customer due dates.
• Coordinate with departments: Work closely with production, sales, purchasing, and management to align schedules with delivery commitments and resource availability.
• Monitor and adjust schedules: Track production progress, update schedules for changes in material availability, capacity constraints, or customer requirements, and resolve delays.
• Manage resources: Ensure labor, materials, and equipment are available and utilized efficiently to minimize costs and avoid downtime.
• Inventory control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages that could delay production or delivery.
• Reporting: Generate production reports, track performance metrics, and communicate status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving: Identify and address issues affecting production, implement corrective actions, and maintain smooth operations.
