Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking a Production Scheduler in Kentwood, MI to develop and maintain master production schedules. You will coordinate with production, supply chain, and procurement to ensure materials and labor are available, and support the SIOP process by executing schedules and adjusting for changes in demand.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years in production planning or scheduling, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business admin, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and organization.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily finite and weekly master production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory, and resources.
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, and procurement to ensure timely material and labor availability.
• Support the SIOP process by executing the master production schedule and addressing large demand changes.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules for delays or equipment issues.
• Prepare reports on production efficiency, schedule adherence, and capacity utilization.
• Ensure ERP/MRP data accuracy and reflect material needs in planning systems.
