Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases, located in North Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Planner to support ERP/MRP driven scheduling. You will coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, materials, engineering, quality, and logistics to ensure lead times, shortages, and schedule changes are communicated clearly.

The role emphasizes maintaining router and work order data, developing routing packages, and ensuring 100% on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in planning and/or production control preferred but not required.
• Experience utilizing an ERP/MRP system.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and improving the Routers.
• Creating and distributing the Work Order packages, consisting of Pick Tickets and Routers, per the Planning schedule.
• Monitor and systemically close each router step when completed.
• Confers with department management to determine the status of assigned projects.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• When necessary, informs Purchasing to expedite specific material in order to meet delivery commitments.
• Ensures system integrity through maintenance of system records, routers, and work orders.
• Monitors ERP, shortage lists, and related indicators to determine 100% material availability and to ensure 100% on-time customer delivery.
• Participate in teams to help make necessary improvements and changes to all process-related issues.
• Attends cross-functional activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering to ensure a smooth flow of materials through the production processes.
• Identifies and communicates a detailed status on any material planning items impacting the production schedule (e.g., part shortages).
• Ensure that work-flows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
