Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases, a subsidiary of Nikkiso Company Ltd, seeks an experienced Supervisor, Production in North Las Vegas. Lead production/assembly teams, drive schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and budget alignment across multiple departments in a high-precision environment.

You will develop plans, allocate labor and capital resources, and monitor KPI performance to deliver projects on time while maintaining standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, manufacturing, industrial or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years’ experience in manufacturing operations with at least five years in management.
• Familiarity with marine class societies is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, MRP/ERP software and project management tools.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, work independently, be detail-oriented.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, QC, costs, and distribution of pumps and turbo expander products.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods and coordination of resources.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office, MRP/ERP, and project management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, work independently, be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective team leadership during times of change and production ramp up.
• Direct production activities in a high-precision manufacturing environment to optimize efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Build a strong production team with a balance of strategic, tactical, and operational focus.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ability to influence others to adopt best practices.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, EHS, QC and other departments to optimize manufacturing.
• Drive KPIs across manufacturing and ensure projects meet quality, time, and budget goals.
• Communicate impact of tech changes and supply implications to stakeholders with recommendations.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and assess impact on manufacturing activities.
