Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is seeking a production planning professional in Santa Ana, CA to support ERP/MRP driven scheduling and material coordination. You will work with manufacturing, procurement, materials, engineering, quality, and logistics to ensure timely lead times and delivery commitments.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years in planning or production control, ERP/MRP experience, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5–6 years experience in planning and/or production control.
• Experience using an ERP/MRP system.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve work order routers with manufacturing engineer help.
• Create work order packages with correct revisions and routers.
• Monitor work orders to ensure schedules are met.
• Confer with department management to determine project status.
• Expedite operations to meet delivery commitments.
• Inform Purchasing to expedite material to meet delivery commitments.
• Ensure schedule integrity and 100% material availability.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Communicate material planning items impacting the schedule.
