Job summary

Kaiser Aluminum is seeking a Production Scheduler to manage production demand and create schedules across multiple lines. You will improve material flow and ensure on-time delivery to internal and external customers, while coordinating with supervisors and teams to resolve scheduling issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain/Logistics and at least five years in production planning with ERP/Planning software experience. Automotive and metal industry knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field.
  • Proficiency with ERP/Planning software.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software.
  • Five years of production planning and logistics experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Experience in automotive or metal industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production demand and create production schedules.
  • Optimize material flow and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Plan sequence of fabrication and manufacturing operations.
  • Advise on capacity planning and status of projects.
  • Prepare reports and work orders.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to resolve schedule issues.
