Job summary

Precision Castparts seeks a Master Scheduler to maintain the Master Production Schedule, coordinating with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing and Engineering to meet on-time delivery. The role involves updating routers, fixing delivery dates, and managing BOM changes for the Alloy Service Center.

The position emphasizes inventory control, shipping plans, and close collaboration with engineers to implement routing changes and quarterly schedules.

Qualifications

• Four years of related professional experience, with at least two years in a Planner/Scheduler/Analyst role.
• Strong oral and written presentation skills.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Visibility.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and adhere to the Master Schedule to support the Business Unit plan and meet customer delivery.
• Regularly communicate changes in routers, span time and cost to Master Scheduler, Planners, Manufacturing and Engineering.
• Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly shipping plans using Excel; identify issues early to remove barriers.
• Ship, receive and manage inventory for Alloy Service Center and related operations.
