Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is hiring a Production Planner to develop and maintain shop schedules that align customer demand, material availability, and capacity. You will release production orders, monitor progress, and coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in shop scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with production planning, production order management, material planning, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to set priorities and recovery plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed shop schedules based on customer demand, production capacity, labor availability, material readiness, and priorities.
• Print, review, and release production orders to the shop floor in accordance with the schedule.
• Monitor open production orders and coordinate corrective actions to keep work on time.
• Partner with production supervisors to confirm priorities and address execution barriers.
• Review material availability and coordinate with purchasing to resolve shortages.
• Reschedule or reprioritize work as conditions change to meet commitments.
• Provide timely schedule status, shortages, recovery plans, and delivery risks to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with customer care, sales, shipping, and warehouse teams for on-time fulfillment.
• Analyze planning issues, determine root causes, and drive cross-functional solutions.
• Maintain accurate planning data and production order status in the ERP system.
