Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation seeks a Supply Chain Planner to lead and execute supply planning, manage inventory and improve service levels across the organization. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, collaboration with purchasing, demand planning, and operations, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain costs.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency with Excel, and a passion for applying analytics to supply chain decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in supply chain, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field required; advanced degree a plus.
• APICS exposure and CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts, inventory management, procurement and their application.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on advanced Excel; ability to manipulate large data sets.
• Prior MRP planning system experience; experience with a major ERP system desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team with changing deadlines and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Establish appropriate inventory levels (Raw, WIP, Finished Goods) considering demand, lead times, storage, shelf life and costs.
• Monitor and adjust planning parameters to meet inventory goals.
• Identify opportunities to optimize inventory, improve inventory health and service levels through cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage at-risk inventory and drive corrections with suppliers or operations.
• Maintain master planning data attributes for the planning engine (ASCP).
• Determine best supply planning methodologies (ROP, Min-Max, MTS, MTO, etc.).
• Develop item site planning based on manufacturing capabilities and transportation costs.
• Establish and track key supply planning metrics aligned with company strategy.
