Lozier Corporation in Scottsboro, AL is seeking a Production Planner to develop daily production schedules aligned with demand and capacity. You will convert master schedules into executable shop floor plans, manage open orders, and monitor adherence while coordinating with engineering, procurement, and production teams.

The role emphasizes optimization of resources, BOM accuracy, and data-driven decisions to improve availability and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in scheduling/inventory control; 6+ years if no degree.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel; strong data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of MPS, BOM, and ERP systems; ability to drive schedules.
• Demonstrated conflict resolution and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Translate master production schedules into detailed daily plans.
• Develop and maintain daily production schedules for constraints.
• Monitor schedules, update open work orders, and reschedule late orders.
• Communicate schedule adherence and risks to cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement and ERP data accuracy.
