The role involves planning and sequencing production, balancing customer due dates with plant capacity, labor, and material availability, and coordinating across Sales, Design, Procurement, and Production.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of clear communication to keep projects on schedule and priorities aligned on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production scheduling, planning, or coordination experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience working with scheduling or ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• The ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple departments.
• The ability to stay organized and make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining the production schedule in MiTek Management.
• Scheduling production to meet customer deadlines.
• Balancing plant capacity, labor availability, and material availability across production lines.
• Managing tentative production holds and releases.
• Coordinating daily with Sales, Estimating & Design, Procurement, and Production.
• Monitoring backlog, schedule adherence, and on-time delivery.
• Identifying scheduling risks or potential delays early and communicating them to the appropriate team members.
• Maintaining accurate scheduling information and reporting for the Plant Manager.
• Helping ensure production priorities are clearly communicated to the manufacturing floor.
