SMITHS TUBULAR SYSTEMS - LACONIA is seeking a motivated planner to coordinate subassembly completion schedules and align material requirements with purchasing and master planning. The role supports work order administration, lead time optimization, and schedule execution to meet customer and sales forecast demands.

The ideal candidate will review production schedules, coordinate with department supervisors, and adjust plans to keep manufacturing on track.

Qualifications

• Coordinate activities on subassemblies to meet due dates.
• Communicate with purchasing and master planning on material needs.
• Support work order processing with splits and qty adjustments.
• Review master production schedule to align operations with ship dates.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule workflow for each department according to established sequences and lead times.
• Plan fabrication, assembly, and installation sequences for guidance of production workers.
• Confer with supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
• Expedite operations delaying schedules and adjust schedules as needed.
• Prepare production reports and lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
