Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Detailed Production Scheduler to coordinate and optimize production schedules across manufacturing operations.

You will balance capacity, materials, and customer demand while collaborating with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality output. The role emphasizes leveraging APS tools (SAP APO, Oracle ASCP) to drive data-driven decisions, monitor performance, and support continuous improvement in scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of production scheduling experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using APS systems such as SAP APO, Oracle ASCP, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules across manufacturing operations.
• Balance production capacity, material availability, and customer requirements to achieve delivery targets.
• Monitor schedule performance and address potential delays or disruptions.
• Partner with production, supply chain, and engineering teams to resolve scheduling challenges.
• Utilize planning tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify optimization opportunities.
• Participate in planning meetings and provide recommendations on resource allocation and scheduling feasibility.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and scheduling best practices.
