Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc., located in Bland, Virginia, is seeking a Detailed Production Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed schedules across manufacturing operations. You will balance capacity, material availability, and customer requirements to ensure on-time delivery and top quality.

You will partner with production, supply chain, and engineering teams to resolve scheduling challenges, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement using APS tools such as SAP APO or Oracle ASCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of production scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) systems such as SAP APO or Oracle ASCP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules across manufacturing operations.
• Balance production capacity, material availability, and customer requirements to meet delivery targets.
• Monitor schedule performance and proactively address delays or disruptions.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, and engineering to resolve scheduling challenges.
• Use advanced planning tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify optimization opportunities.
• Participate in planning meetings and advise on resource allocation and feasibility.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and scheduling best practices.
