Job summary

Werfen is seeking an Inventory Planner in the United States to plan and control finished goods inventory across warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing plants. You will analyze inventory levels, forecast inputs, and maintain the computerized inventory management system to meet demand.

Responsibilities include coordinating replenishment with partners, issuing POs, monitoring safety stock, and ensuring product availability while controlling scrap exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management.
• Minimum of three years of experience in inventory/distribution roles.
• Experience with computerized inventory/distribution management systems, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate inventory replenishment with strategic partners.
• Provide forecast requirements and issue purchase orders and inter-plant orders.
• Analyze inventory levels and positioning to ensure compliance.
• Meet annual goals for finished goods inventory levels.
• Coordinate shipments and drop shipments to customers.
• Maintain communication with partners on orders, material availability, and shipping issues.
