Precision Castparts Corp. in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a Master Scheduler/Inventory Generalist to support the Alloy Service Center.

You will assist in maintaining the Master Schedule, coordinate with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing and Engineering to meet customer delivery windows, and manage shipping/receiving and inventory for the ASC. Responsibilities include updating process routers, publishing weekly/monthly shipping plans using Excel, and communicating changes to the Master Scheduler to

Qualifications

Associate (two year) degree preferred but will consider those with equivalent work experience.
Minimum four years related professional experience with at least two of those years related to a Planner/Scheduler/Analyst position.
Demonstrated good oral and written presentation skills.
Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
Demonstrated good organizational skills.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Visibility.
Positive mental attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Master Scheduler in maintaining and adhering to the Master Schedule, supporting the Business Unit plan and meeting customer delivery.
Communicate changes in process routers including span time and cost to stakeholders.
Enter changes in process routers in Visibility for efficiency in span time and cost.
Constructs and maintains weekly, monthly and quarterly shipping plans using Excel.
Identify issues early in the quarter and work to remove shipping barriers.
Communicates issues to the Master Scheduler daily regarding router and span changes which affects shipping dates.
Ship, receive and manage all inventory for the Alloy Service Center.
