Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Planner in Wisconsin to develop and maintain production schedules tied to customer orders and forecasts. You will work with procurement, engineering, and shop leadership to ensure timely material availability and efficient production flow.

The role requires strong planning, analytical, and communication skills, with experience in ERP/MRP and BOM/routings interpretation.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling and materials planning.
• Experience with inventory control and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to interpret BOMs, routings, work orders, and capacity data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on orders, forecasts, and capacity.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials and equipment are available for schedules.
• Track production progress and adjust plans to meet delivery commitments.
• Analyze capacity, labor, equipment, and lead times to create efficient production plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and shop manager to resolve planning issues.
• Maintain accurate planning data and generate status/inventory reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve schedule adherence and reduce lead times.
