Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Involves production planning, inventory control, process control, or shop floor control/MRP integrity.
  • Maintains work order releases to ensure on-time material delivery to manufacturing and engineering.
  • Performs pre-shortage analysis and work order variance analysis.
  • Reviews MRP execution and ensures accuracy of information; reconciles supply and demand; validates scheduling and ECO/ECR processes.
  • Participates in floor audits and production meetings to report material shortage dates.
  • Adjusts lead times to reflect reality on the factory floor.
  • Works with engineers to manage materials for special projects; may coordinate with work centers on shop floor activities.
  • Monitors usage data and stock levels to forecast parts needs and maintains inventory levels.
