Job summary
Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Company LLC is seeking a Production Planner in Santa Maria, CA to support the master schedule by planning orders, routings, and material status. You will also handle BOM changes, WIP revisions, and nonconformities while serving as a key liaison to shop personnel and engineering teams.
You will gain exposure to SAP ERP/MRP, Enovia PLM, and internal documentation practices, contributing to on-time delivery and cost-effective manufacturing in a growing business unit.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have hands-on ERP/MRP experience.
- Experience with SAP is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Enovia PLM a plus.
- Excellent relationship-building across shop floor, engineering and management.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to handle documentation.
- Ability to switch from detailed to urgent when needed.
Responsibilities
- Plan production orders and routings to support master schedule.
- Process work-in-progress drawings and BOM changes.
- Assist in resolving nonconformities and rework.
- Serve as front-line shop support for project needs.
- Identify delays and expedite to keep schedules.
- Develop unique solutions when processes don’t fit.
