Job summary

ZimZee Recruiting is seeking a Production Planner to develop, coordinate, and optimize production schedules, ensuring on-time customer deliveries and balanced inventory in a manufacturing environment. The role requires strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with MRP/ERP systems.

Ideal candidates will balance capacity with demand, work cross-functionally with Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales, and identify cost-saving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or supply chain planning.
• Experience with MRP and ERP systems.
• Ability to develop and manage production schedules in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management, capacity planning, and demand forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, inventory targets, and capacity.
• Review orders and sales requirements to determine production feasibility and on-time delivery commitments.
• Create and manage production orders within the ERP/MRP system to support customer and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, and Sales to ensure material availability and efficient production flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and production performance, adjusting schedules as needed to address shortages or bottlenecks.
