Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in North Amityville, NY seeks a Senior Associate, Production Planning to coordinate and optimize production schedules. You will align material flow with capacity, monitor plans, and ensure on-time delivery by collaborating with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and the shop floor.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent experience, with strong MRP/ERP proficiency and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, or 6+ years without a degree.
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems and managing multi-level BOMs and routings.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, adjust, and release manufacturing orders for multi-level products using MRP/ERP.
• Analyze material availability to ensure timely release of orders and uninterrupted production.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to expedite parts and resolve shortages impacting schedules.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to maintain planning parameters (lead times, setup hours, etc.).
• Monitor order status and ensure on-time completion and adherence to shipping schedules.
• Expedite materials and assemblies to support schedule attainment and production efficiency.
• Identify risks from planning data and implement corrective actions.
