The role focuses on aligning production schedules with master plans, coordinating with Supply Chain, manufacturing, and quality to resolve scheduling issues, and ensuring proper packet release using ERP systems. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in production planning, strong MS Office skills, and experience with MRP and SAP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of production planning experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• MRP experience; SAP preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production supervisors, Supply Chain, manufacturing and quality engineers to meet schedules and priorities.
• Release work packets according to the master schedule and program network plans using ERP and production data.
• Maintain ERP data (lead-times, lot sizes, inventory transfers, policy codes) and perform planning transactions.
• Plan, coordinate and expedite detailed part schedules to meet Master Schedule requirements.
• Review material order requirements and expedite critical items with Supply Chain.
• Review manufacturing orders for release and prepare documentation for the floor.
• Communicate status and potential delays to Supply Chain and Product Teams.
• Understand ERP/PI system logic for order launching and program execution.
