Job summary

Astronics Connectivity Systems and Certification in Waukegan, IL is seeking an experienced Production Planner / Scheduler / Analyst to manage production schedules for complex assemblies, many with long lead-time components. You will develop schedules, monitor material availability, and coordinate with procurement and production teams using ERP expertise.

The ideal candidate has strong MRP/BOM skills, experience with constrained materials, and excels at data analysis to mitigate scheduling risks

Qualifications

3+ years in production planning, scheduling, or materials analysis.
ERP mastery (SAP/Oracle/Infor/Epicor) with MRP and BOM management.
Experience with long lead-time and constrained materials.
Advanced Excel and BI tools experience.
AS9100/ISO 9001 environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules for complex assemblies.
Monitor schedules around long lead-time parts and flag risks to on-time delivery.
Analyze MRP and coordinate with purchasing to secure materials.
Maintain BOMs, routings, and work orders in ERP.
Generate reports and dashboards on schedule status and risks.
