Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage production scheduling and material procurement, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient operations. You will coordinate with multiple departments to maintain flow, resolve issues, and optimize inventory and shop orders across assigned commodities.

The role requires 3+ years in planning or purchasing within manufacturing; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and APICS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in planning or purchasing within a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; APICS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and release production orders for assigned commodities, adhering to production guidelines.
• Manage inventory control and implement process improvements.
• Review MRP outputs and generate shop orders to meet production needs.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules based on resource availability and capacity.
• Maintain on-time shipping performance and manage daily operational reports.
• Collaborate with Quality and Suppliers to resolve non-conforming material issues.
• Update material master records and production information as needed.
• Ensure adherence to the HUS Control Plan for quality compliance.
