Job summary

Bay Advanced Technologies, a leader in fluid power solutions, is seeking a Production Planner in Austin, TX. The role bridges Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure material readiness and on-time delivery.

You will analyze shortages, manage ERP-driven dates, and work with procurement to resolve constraints. Minimum 2+ years in a production planning role and a high school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as production planner or similar position in the industry.
• Experience using ERP systems to manage material and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production orders are material clear and realistically scheduled.
• Maintain accurate dates on production orders in the ERP.
• Allocate and reallocate material across orders based on priorities and capacity.
• Coordinate with Procurement to address shortages and substitutions.
• Collaborate with internal manufacturing and sub-assembly teams on constrained items.
• Maintain up-to-date job order notes with shortages and constraints.
• Support sequencING and leveling of the build schedule.
• Communicate delivery date impacts to stakeholders.
• Participate in operations meetings to review shortages and mitigation plans.
