Job summary

Dover Corp is seeking a highly analytical Production and Materials Planner in Austin, Texas. This role involves managing the end-to-end lifecycle of production orders, ensuring alignment of material availability with manufacturing capacity.

Key responsibilities include participation in the S&OP process, development of production plans, and support for engineering and new product launches. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field, with advanced proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in the S&OP process to enhance forecast accuracy.
• Develop detailed production schedules and plans.
• Analyze workflow to implement optimal material flow strategies.
• Prepare for Engineering Design Reviews and New Product Launch meetings.
• Communicate part shortages to the Materials Manager.
• Update MRP planning parameters and ensure data integrity.
• Facilitate production status meetings and communicate metrics.
• Recommend process improvements supporting quality initiatives.
