Job summary

The Production Planner at Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. will manage timely MRP execution in SAP, and maintain short- and long-term production plans to support raw materials, staffing, equipment, and outsourcing needs.

They will create finite production schedules, monitor daily exceptions, analyze data, and drive improvements in flow, capacity, and efficiency while coordinating with global cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Product Supply Management or related discipline.
• 3-5 years Planning and Scheduling in LEAN manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of Routings and Bills of Material.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRP in SAP to maintain finite production schedules.
• Develop mid- and long-term production plans for materials and capacity.
• Maintain daily/weekly production schedules per MRP/ERP.
• Monitor workflow, analyze data, resolve routine and non-routine issues.
• Analyze inventory movement and optimize batch size, capacity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the global supply chain.
