Job summary

Waaree Solar Americas is seeking a Production Control Planner to coordinate scheduling, material flow, inventory, and scrap tracking on the Goodyear, AZ manufacturing floor. You will drive efficient operations by ensuring materials are available when needed and production schedules are met.

The ideal candidate brings Proven production planning experience, strong lean/SIOP knowledge, and proficiency with ERP/MRP/APS tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations management, or a related field.
Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations.
Experience in highly automated manufacturing environments or startup settings.
Strong understanding of production planning, lean manufacturing, and supply chain management.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP/APS software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of SIOP and lean concepts for material flow.
Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Schedule production to meet demand and internal targets.
Manage production timelines and priorities based on capacity, materials, and order requirements.
Coordinate with floor supervisors to align daily operations with production plans.
Monitor critical production deadlines and communicate status.
Track milestones and adjust plans for changing requirements.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure material movement and replenishment for production flow.
Maintain records in ERP or MRP systems.
Collaborate with shipping and quality teams to resolve order issues before dispatch.
Record, analyze, and report production scrap data.
Identify trends and minimize waste to improve yield.
Coordinate and oversee work by subcontractors or vendors.
Ensure subcontracted work meets quality standards and timelines.
Communicate expectations and monitor performance.
Generate and distribute reports on production progress, inventory status, material usage, and scrap analysis.
