Job summary

Safran Group is seeking a Production Planner to manage material requirements and scheduling within an ERP/MRP environment. You will ensure BOM accuracy, lead times, inventory control, and on-time delivery while aligning with AS9100/ISO9001 practices.

The role requires strong cross-functional coordination with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in production or material planning and demonstrates a track record of stock

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and ERP/MRP experience.
• 3+ years of production planning or material planning experience.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001 quality standards is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules work flow for every workstation according to manufacturing sequence and control lead time.
• Controls material requirements per BOM, sequence, and production flow.
• Expedites operations to meet schedules and adapt to unforeseen conditions.
• Prepares production and productivity reports and cost analysis graphs to drive improvements.
• Reads and evaluates engineering drawings, determines material quantities, and validates BOM in the MRP system.
• Sets up purchase requisitions and coordinates with Purchasing for timely needs.
• Plans intercompany requirements and maintains distribution orders for on-time delivery.
• Manages intercompany transfers and reviews complex multi-level BOMs.
• Keeps inventory levels aligned with company goals and supports testing/certification of new programs.
