Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to manage production schedules and coordinate movement of materials across manufacturing processes. You will work closely with Engineering, Program Management, and Purchasing to ensure on-time delivery and optimize throughput.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in planning, strong Oracle 11i and advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Kinaxis or similar APS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years in production planning or equivalent.
• Experience in production planning to support SYN requirements and workflows.
• Hands-on proficiency in Oracle 11i and advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Schedule production and manage work orders to ensure on-time shipments.
• Identify material shortages and capacity constraints; provide delivery projections.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Engineering to expedite materials and WIP.
• Identify bottlenecks and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
• Apply production planning expertise to align schedules with program goals.
• Use problem-solving skills to resolve material planning challenges.
