Triple-S Steel is seeking an experienced Production Planner to coordinate detailed production schedules, align with demand forecasts, and manage inventory using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.

The role requires strong knowledge of supply chain principles, lean manufacturing, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Local candidates in Colorado are preferred, with solid benefits and a pay range of $22–$28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
• Experience with MRP and demand planning methodologies.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing to improve efficiency.
• Expertise in manufacturing processes, inventory management, and control strategies.
• Ability to analyze data for forecasting and planning.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management.
• Analytical mindset for handling disruptions or scheduling conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacity.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement to align plans with business goals.
• Use SAP and Oracle to input, monitor, and adjust production data.
• Manage MRP processes to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
• Apply lean manufacturing to improve workflow and lead times.
• Forecast demand and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Monitor inventory to meet production needs without excess.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics for timely procurement and delivery.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop contingency plans.
• Maintain documentation of scheduling activities for reporting and continuous improvement.
