Job summary

IDEAL Industries, Inc. is hiring a Production Planner to develop and maintain a Master Production Schedule within our ERP system. You will translate demand forecasts into actionable production plans, monitor adherence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply with business priorities.

The role supports D365 SCM and continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires strong planning and ERP experience, plus Excel and BI tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 1+ year in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience in production planning, master scheduling, manufacturing planning, or supply chain planning preferred.
• ERP experience for MPS, MRP, and production scheduling required.
• Proficiency in Excel and BI tools preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize a Master Production Schedule aligned to demand, forecasts, inventory strategies, and capacity.
• Translate demand forecasts into actionable production and supply plans.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans for capacity constraints, shortages, and risks.
• Facilitate daily/weekly scheduling reviews with production, operations, and supply chain teams.
• Utilize ERP to execute MPS, MRP, and supply planning activities and ensure data accuracy.
