Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Mount Holly Springs, PA seeks an experienced Senior Planner to develop the master production plan that satisfies customer demand while minimizing inventory.

You will issue floor releases and purchasing requisitions, coordinating with Operations, Product Line Managers and Sales to balance capacity and demand. The role requires 3-5 years in production planning, ERP/MRP experience (AX preferred), and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or APICS certification desired.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems; Microsoft AX experience preferred.
• 3-5 years production planning and scheduling experience in a mix–model manufacturing environment desired.
• US Person status is required due to ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecast for assigned product lines with Sales, Marketing and stakeholders.
• Create and manage Build Plan for assigned product lines in alignment with orders, forecast, capacity and labor constraints.
• Schedule all sales orders and ensure accurate ship dates with Customer Service.
• Identify and manage exceptions like material shortages, late jobs and quality issues.
• Drive to improve ship dates and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
