Job summary

Mini-Circuits in Melville, NY is seeking a Production Control Planner to develop, coordinate, and maintain comprehensive supply and production plans. The role ensures components and materials availability to meet customer delivery schedules and executes MRP signals.

You will work closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, engineering and quality assurance; monitor inventory and lead times; drive continuous improvement; and support short- and long-term capacity planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of MRP, demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
• APICS/ASCM certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; capable across teams and departments.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma practices advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute production control plans aligned with demand forecasts, master production schedules, and customer requirements.
• Convert MRP signals into actionable production orders and material requirements.
• Actively monitor and address production and supply issues to prevent disruptions to the manufacturing process or customer deliveries.
• Analyze inventory levels, safety stock, and lead times to maintain optimal inventory while minimizing excess and shortages.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to create accurate, executable production schedules.
