Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Planner for the Mount Holly Springs Facility.

The role develops the master production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum inventory and issues releases to manufacturing and requisitions to purchasing. The Senior Planner collaborates with Operations, Sales, and Product Line Manager to align forecasts, capacity, and inventory targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related discipline or APICS certification desired.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems; Microsoft AX experience preferred.
3 - 5 years production planning and scheduling experience in a mixed-model manufacturing environment desired.
US Person status is required due to ITAR exposure.
Experience leading process improvement projects.
Experience in managing manufacturing scheduling activities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain master production plan to satisfy customer demand while limiting inventory.
Issue releases to manufacturing floor and requisitions to purchasing.
Prepare monthly production plans aligned with capacity and demand forecasts.
Collaborate with Product Line Manager, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing and Management.
Track inventory levels and ensure on-time shipments to customers.
