Job summary

JTS Production is seeking a Production Planner to ensure timely flow of materials and information that support production and customer needs. You will work closely with purchasers, warehousing, and shop crews to advise management on WIP status, material availability, and potential production issues.

Responsibilities include maintaining MPS and MRP, reviewing orders, balancing inventory across FG, WIP, and components, releasing jobs daily, coordinating engineering changes, and ensuring customer

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required; BA/BS preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing production experience.
• Experience with inventory management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Master Production Scheduling & MRP; ensure timely material flow.
• Review incoming orders for proper scheduling and requisitioning.
• Maintain inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimize obsolescence.
• Release jobs to the production floor daily.
• Coordinate Engineering change notices with applicable departments.
• Work with Engineering, Purchasing and Production to meet dates.
• Maintain planned shipment dates and communicate status.
• Evaluate capacities and lead times to schedule production for level workflow.
• Monitor daily load and status reports; adjust as needed.
• Support safety and compliance in manufacturing environment.
