Job summary

Entegris in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Production Planner to join the Advanced Purity Solutions Division. You will review material availability, release work orders for kitting, coordinate with procurement, and support production with part shortages.

The role requires 1-3 years of production planning experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems. You will work cross-functionally with planners, warehouse, and procurement to optimize Kanban and stock

Qualifications

• 1-3 years production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review material availability and release work orders for kitting.
• Coordinate replenishment activities with procurement.
• Support production with part shortages.
• Manage work order material and approve returns of unused components.
• Update open work orders with configuration changes.
• Confirm STO work orders and deliver to logistics.
• Maintain Kanban/safety stock levels based on supply/demand.
• Analyze work order variance and close orders after completion.
• Escalate discrepancies to Planner III or higher.
• Follow Entegris planning policies and procedures.
