Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain daily production schedules that align demand, inventory, capacity, and material availability.

You will work with Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Sales to ensure on-time manufacturing and delivery while optimizing resources. The role requires strong Excel skills, 2–5 years in planning or manufacturing, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment on site in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in production planning or related environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily production schedules based on demand, inventory, capacity, and material availability.
• Control shipments to customers with shipping confirmations to MDC.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules for changing priorities or shortages.
• Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, orders, and production requirements.
• Identify capacity or scheduling constraints and communicate risks to teams.
• Work with Production Supervisors to ensure adherence to schedule.
• Maintain planning data in the ERP/MRP system (System 21).
• Participate in cross-functional planning meetings for new models and sample builds.
