Job summary

Promat-Inc in Maryville, Tennessee, is seeking a Production & Raw Material Planner to align production schedules with demand, manage inventory, and optimize the supply chain. The role requires 5+ years in a buyer/planner capacity within a direct manufacturing environment and strong knowledge of MRP and SAP modules.

You will work across departments to ensure components are available, monitor supplier performance, and drive improvements in on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a buyer/planner/material scheduler role in direct manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, MRP, transportation, supply chain, inventory management and warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor schedules for products and commodities to meet demand.
• Schedule work orders using MRP and shop floor systems.
• Coordinate production phases to meet order receipt and stock level requirements.
• Manage inventory levels and collaborate with Supply Chain Buyer to ensure material delivery.
