The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree, have at least 3 years in planning/purchasing, and possess IMPORT experience to secure pricing and lead times. Local candidates only, with salary up to $90,000 and strong benefits.

Materials Planner and Buyer – Growing Manufacturer

Salary Up To $90,000 Plus Outstanding Benefits in the Memphis, TN area

NOTE - There is no paid relocation for this position. Seeking local candidates only.

Growing manufacturing company is looking for a Materials Planner/Buyer for their Memphis facility. They need an organized, detail oriented, goal driving person to handle the scheduling, inventory control and shipments.

As the Materials Planner, your daily responsibilities will be:

• Working closely with management to develop methods for cost reduction, quality improvement, as well as efficiency
• Drive procurement strategies within established pricing frameworks
• Secure competitive pricing, lead times, and MOQs
• Negotiate routine commercial terms with approved vendors
• Managing Inventory and Forecasting needs & usage
• Making certain that all materials for effective and efficient manufacturing and on-time shipment are in balance with corporate objectives
• Will be working with an ERP/MRP system.

Minimum requirements for this Materials Scheduler position:
